The range of safety relief valves Danfoss BSV, designed specifically to protect small tanks against pressure overloads. Valves can be used as pilot valves for servo-controlled internal safety valves, such as the POV type (Pressure Operated Valve). Models with standard opening pressure are supplied with a TÜV certification for each valve.
As the valve is not dependent on the back pressure, it is recommended for use as an internal safety relief valve. However, the valve can also be used as an external safety relief valve. The spring housing is tightly sealed to avoid refrigerant leakage.
Safety relief valve can operate with a very high back pressure. They were designed to meet the strict quality demands and safety requirements for refrigeration installations, specified by the international classification societies.
