The range of GVN OS.D oil separators designed for use in screw compressors. Oil separators are available with tank volume range from 19.0 to 230.0 litres, dedicated to refrigerants HCFC, HFC, R290 (propane), and R717 (ammonia). They can operate with a maximum working pressure (PS1) of 33 bar. They have been manufactured in accordance with the CE Directive 2014/68/EU [PED] concerning pressure equipment.
The task of oil separators for screw compressors is to properly separate oil from the compressed refrigerant and ensure the most effective return of oil to the compressor. It is recommended to use a safety valve and an oil level sensor. Oil level sensor connections, oil heaters, and thermostats are available as standard on the oil separator.
GVN OS.D oil separators are mounted on the discharge line of screw compressors. They have a two-stage body structure. The first part is the separation section, which separates oil from the outlet gas of the compressor, and the second part is the chamber section used to collect the separated oil. A gas check valve is located at the outlet of the OS.D oil separators.
