The range of GVN Horizontal Liquid Receivers (HC) with a baseplate for compressor mounting. Models are available in various dimensions and connection diameters, allowing for customization to fit any application. The refrigerant receivers are designed to work with condensing units using refrigerants from the HCFC, HFC groups, R410A, R744 (CO2), R290 (propane), and R717 (ammonia). They are manufactured in compliance with the CE Directive 2014/68/EU [PED] and approved for operation at maximum working pressures of 33 and 45 bar. Receivers volume from 9.0 to 100.0 l.
The baseplate is equipped with suitable openings for connecting the feet of BOCK, BITZER, DORIN, and FRASCOLD compressors.
The HC.45b series receivers are designed for subcritical CO2 applications. They can be offered with capacities of up to 1000 l. They have been protected against corrosion through a 500-hour salt spray test.
Liquid receivers enable the protection of the refrigeration system against fluctuating refrigerant demand, ensuring proper gas circulation in the system. They serve as a buffer between the liquid and the hot gas on the high-pressure side of the system, preventing the hot gas from entering the evaporator. They also function as storage for refrigerant collection when system maintenance is required.
