Danfoss DCR filter driers

Danfoss DCR filter-driers are characterized by highly effective contamination retention in the suction and liquid lines. They can be used in all environments, the jacket has a zinc-phosphate coating and an anti-corrosive powder coating, tested for 500 hours in a salt spray chamber. The cartridge holder requires minimal clearance to remove the cartridge for replacement. To facilitate the use of the filter-drier, the lid is designed to stay in place when installing the cartridges, lid and hull. The DCR filter can be mounted in any position.

Types of cartridges:

• 48-DM for liquid lines (100% molecular sieves for media HFC, HCFC and POE or PAG oils) ensure high moisture adsorption capacity at low and high condensing temperatures. Effective protection against pollution.
• 48-DC is a solid element made of 80% molecular sieves and 20% activated sieves aluminum oxide, designed for HCFC, HFC refrigerants and POE or PAG oils; adsorbs moisture and acid in the system over the entire temperature range
• 48-DA is a solid insert made of 30% molecular sieves and 70% of activated sieves aluminum oxide, designed to remove contaminants after compressor motor combustion: high acid adsorption capacity and standard dewatering capacity - recommended for use with refrigerants from the following groups: HFO, HC, HFC and HCFC
• 48-F strainer for filtering solids: Compatible with all refrigerants:
  • retains dirt particles larger than 15 μm
  • for use directly in DCR housings
  • for use in suction lines
