The series of Danfoss TE 5 - TE 55 expansion valves regulates the injection of refrigerant into evaporators of medium-sized installations. The valves are mainly designed to supply 'dry' evaporators, where the amount of superheat at the evaporator outlet should be kept constant. These valves are compatible with various refrigerants, including: R22, R134a, R404A, R507, R407A, R407F, R407C, R448A, R449A, R452A, R454C, R455A, R513A, R1234yf. They are supplied as part of a component program with separate thermostatic elements, orifice assemblies, valves body and with external pressure equalization.

The series of Danfoss TE 5 - TE 55 expansion valves regulates the injection of refrigerant into evaporators of medium-sized installations. The valves are mainly designed to supply 'dry' evaporators, where the amount of superheat at the evaporator outlet should be kept constant. These valves are compatible with various refrigerants, including: R22, R134a, R404A, R507, R407A, R407F, R407C, R448A, R449A, R452A, R454C, R455A, R513A, R1234yf. They are supplied as part of a component program with separate thermostatic elements, orifice assemblies, valves body and with external pressure equalization.

To ensure a long service life, the valve seat and valve body are made from a special alloy with exceptional resistance to wear. The capillary tube and stainless steel sensor provide high resistance to corrosion, vibrations, and deformation. The exchangeable power element is produced with the well-known Danfoss laser welding technology for extended lifetime capability.
