Danfoss KVL suction pressure regulator is installed in the suction line in front of the compressor. This regulator protects the compressor motor against overload during start-up after long standstill periods or after defrost periods (high pressure in evaporator). They are available with solder and ODF solder connections. Compact angle design ensures an easy installation in any position. Danfoss KVL regulators designed for use in traditional cooling systems, air conditioning and refrigerating transport.
Danfoss KVL units provide an accurate pressure control and simple tune. The damping device helps to ensure long life of the regulator without impairing regulation accuracy. Regulating range from 0.2 to 6 bar. Maximum operating pressure is 18 bar.
