The PSH series of hermetic scroll compressors from Danfoss is designed for heating systems. The compressors, compatible with R410A refrigerant, with displacement ranging from 15.4 m3/h to 29.6 m3/h, ensure system reliability, reduced number of components, and shorter downtimes. The liquid injection system and integrated electronic module guarantee an extended range of operating parameters. Danfoss PSH compressors offer the ability to monitor operating range, data storage, and communication bus. They can be equipped with a patented oil surface sump heater (SSH) and insulation, which significantly contributes to noise reduction. This energy-efficient and economical solution with compact dimensions is mainly used in commercial heat pumps.

Danfoss PSH compressors for heating systems offer a simpler and more efficient solution, potentially reducing OEM costs by up to 25%. The lightweight PSH unit requires fewer system components. There is no need for a brazed plate heat exchanger, electronic expansion valves, or additional piping. The new integrated liquid injection valve and controller simplify the design and production of heat pumps.

Heat pump and air conditioning equipment manufacturers can use PSH compressors in systems operating with very high condensing temperatures up to 65°C and low evaporation temperatures down to -30°C. The compressor allows for simple system integration and does not require any additional components.

The liquid injection system expands the range of operating parameters, allowing the compressor to work even in extreme conditions and reducing installation costs. The operating control system (OCS) ensures complete protection, greater system reliability, reduces downtime, and lowers warranty service costs.
